Tom brings 30+ years of experience leading regulatory, engineering, and product strategy initiatives across global organizations. He served as Senior Director of Energy & Environment Policy at the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, directing national engagement with NHTSA, CARB, EPA, UNECE, and Euro NCAP. Before that, he built and led the Emerging Regulations & Technical Research function at Aisin, integrating regulatory intelligence into product strategy and investment decisions across global vehicle programs. He is a named inventor on 11 U.S. patents and co-author of peer-reviewed research on automotive sensing technology conducted at the National Advanced Driving Simulator.
